What's the best/easiest software for making dvd's
Published on January 17, 2007 By RadialFX In Personal Computing
I have some .avi files that I want to burn on a dvd to put in my dvd player and watch on my television. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what is the best or easiest software for doing that. I used NeroVision Express but it doesn't want to play in my dvd player. Any suggestions. Also, it's entirely possible that I didn't do something right. Thanks!

Also, when I watch the dvd on my pc there is a white square wondering around on the screen and at the bottom it scrolls the message. "Your trial period has expired, please register your player at http://www.moonlight.co.il to continue using". I watching it with WMP, why would it give that message?

You need a DVD decoder. Do you have Nero Showtime installed? (find that 'Moonlight' codec and un-install it.)

Yup, I'm uninstalling it next. I found some info on it. Yes, I have Nero Showtime installed. What I can't figure out is how to make it play on the DVD player I have hooked up to my television. Oh, by the way, thanks for the info yrag!

If you have Showtime, you should have this plug-in already installed or available to be installed: WWW Link
